Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application for an Endorsement on an Non-Ethiopian Passport in Ethiopia is available in the Main Department of Immigration and Nationality Affairs contact link
2. Applicant must enter all necessary information requested in the application form.
3. Documents that are needed for completing application procedure are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant must carry both photocopies and originals of all those documents while applying for this procedure.
5. Attach photocopies of documents along with the application form (whichever is necessary).
6. A fee of $117 for obtaining a new passport.
7. If all necessary information is provided along with the needed documents, applicant can get their passport within a week.
