Apply In Person

1. To Apply for Property Registration (PR), the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction link
2. An application from will be provided to the applicant by the respective officer.
3. Applicant has to fill in all necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted).
4. Make sure that the applicant has all the necessary documents (photocopies and originals) that are mentioned in “Required Documents” in the section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach the photocopies of the necessary documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit the application form to the respective officer. The authority will review the application.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee of 100birr, and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
8. Upon the successful verification and new documentation, the property registration will be done within 2months.

• Legally, the sale of property won't be considered valid till the sale deed is duly stamped and registered.
• The basic purpose of registration is to record the ownership of the flat.
