Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for immigration visa, applicant has to approach the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. contact link1 or the applicant contact Immigration Nationality and Vital Event Agency in Ethiopia contact link2
2. Obtain the application form from the respective authority.
3. Complete the application form with necessary details.
4. Make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the application form along with the documents to the concerned officer.
6. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, authority will issue the immigration visa to the applicant.

1. Application for a Visa is available in the following link
2. Applicant has to choose “Visa Type” and “Citizenship” and then check on the terms and conditions tab.
3. Finally, check on “I’m not a robot” and then click on “Continue”.
4. On the following tab, applicant has to enter arrival information and then click on “Next”.
5. Next tab asks for personal information of the applicant which are to be entered and then the customer has to click on “Next” button.
6. Applicant has to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. Finally review documents and click on “Submit” button.
8. Payment for this procedure can be paid online.
9. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, visa will be provided within a month by visiting the office.
10. The applicant should carry the necessary documents with them while collecting the visa

• Passport with at least 6 months of validity from the date you intend to enter the country
• A scanned copy of your passport bio page
• A recent passport size digital photo (in color)
• Completed application form
• Valid travel document not less than six months

Fee will be disclosed by the authority at the time of application submission.

Validity

The Immigration visa are usually valid for entry within three months from the date of issue.
