Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application for film or posters classification in Ethiopia is available in Ethiopian Broadcasting Authority contact link
2. Applicant must enter all necessary information requested in the application form.
3. Documents that are needed for completing application procedure are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant must carry both photocopies and originals of all those documents while applying for this procedure.
5. Attach photocopies of documents along with the application form (whichever is necessary).
6. Fee for this procedure is 1,000 Birr.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures are followed properly, applicant can get their film or posters classification within one day.

Films, TV and Radio programs, Movies, Posters, Videos that are created, broadcasted, possessed and distributed all over Ethiopia are eligible.

Fees

Fee for this procedure is 1,000 Birr.

Validity

Valid for a period of 5 years.
