Procedure

1. To obtain a youth driver license, please make sure you have the required documents that listed under the Required Documents section of this page.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SALVADORANS

• Tax Identification Number ( NIT ) (original and copy)
• Birth certificate (original and copy) (less than 6 months validity)
• Bank guarantee in the amount of $ 571.43 (original and copy)
• Deposit moral notarized and signed by both parents (original and copy)
• Proof of (original and copy) blood group
• Having passed the visual, theoretical and practical examinations at any school examiner authorized by the Deputy Minister of Transport.

REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGNERS

• Tax Identification Number ( NIT ) (original and copy)
• Valid passport (original and copy)
• Temporary resident card (with a force greater than 3 months) or permanent resident card (original and copy)
• Bank guarantee in the amount of $ 571.43 (original and copy)
• Deposit moral notarized and signed by both parents (original and copy)
• Proof of (original and copy) blood group
• Having passed the visual, theoretical and practical examinations at any school examiner authorized by the Deputy Minister of Transport
