Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain police clearance certificate, the applicant should write an application letter explaining why police certificate is being requested to the local the local police station: URL
2. The applicant must apply with Completed Application Form (Personal Particular) provided by our Organization for Police Clearance Certificate.
3. You have to fill the prescribed application form in all sections completed in BLOCK CAPITALS with black ink only. Obtained a complete set of 10 fingerprint impressions* taken by a qualified fingerprint officer at our lab.
4. The applicant also needs to carry all the documents required for the procedure mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this procedure. The applicant must pay the required fee of the procedure to the respective authority.
5. The Egyptian Ministry of Interior, take 2 weeks to process the application if no criminal record found. You should send a written disclosure request to Egypt Embassy.
6. The applicant should furnish his or her full name, date and place of birth, and place and period of all residences in the Republic of Egypt, including full addresses.
7. The police clearance certificates will be posted to the forwarding address as indicated by the applicants in the application. The applicant must approach the office mentioned earlier to collect the license once they get notified by the authority about the same.

Required Documents

• A letter explaining the purpose for which the police clearance certificate is required
• Fully completed application form (Personal Particular)
• Passport size photograph with a white background, taken within the past 3 months (only photos with a white background will be accepted)
• Certified copy of your work permit card or dependent card (if applicable)
• Certified copy of Egyptian ID (if applicable)
• A set of applicant’s fingerprint impressions (ten prints). The applicant must submit a set of his/her fingerprint impressions duly attested by our organization
• The applicant’s place of residence during the period of time for which the police clearance is sought
• Certified copy of your passport visa page(s)
• A detailed covering letter stating the period of stay in Egypt and need for the said certificate
• Two proofs of your current address. Official correspondence showing your name and address both dated

Eligibility

• Applicant with valid passport and a valid address proof.
• Age: 16 years and above. In case of minors, the application must be submitted by the parent exercising parental authority, if the minor has not turned 16 years.
• The current address of the applicant must be same as in the passport and other supporting documents.
• Applicants who are in need of residential status, employment or long term visa or for immigration to a foreign nation.
