Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get License or Permit for Toys, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Trade and Industry Contact link
2. The applicant should obtain the application form from the authority.
3. Applicant should read carefully in the application form, after all details must be filled in the application form.
4. Also, make sure that the applicant has all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. Attach all the documents with the application letter and submit it to the Director of International Trade Administration.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page. Please pay as authority’s advice at the time of applying.
7. After receiving the application and documents, the authorities will check the submitted document set.
8. Authorities will process this request either manually or digitally using the computer for electronic processing all the required documents will be scanned.
9. Authorities will issue an acknowledgement receipt for submission of application. Please collect it and please keep it safe for future reference.
10. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
11. Once the verification of all the documents and application has been done, the applicant will be informed through phone or email to collect the final license within 60 days.
12. The processing time for this procedure is 2 months.

• A copy of the certificate of incorporation.
• A certified copy of the registration certificate.
• The latest copy of the annual returns.
• Proof of availability of the business premises (either a title deed or a written lease agreement).
• A certified copy of a valid National Identity card for owners, shareholders, or directors who are citizens.
• Certified copy of passport for owners, shareholders, or directors who are non-citizens.
• The original or certified copy of the physical planner's report.
• The original or a certified copy of the environmental health report.

Eligibility

• Citizens and non-citizens who are above the age of eighteen (18) years and Toys businesses qualify to apply.

Fees

• The non-refundable processing fee is EGP 100.00.
• The license fee is EGP 1500.00

Validity

• The license is valid for one year from the date of issue and renewable thereafter.

• The owner shall assign construction of building to any contractor.
• The permission may be refused only if the application is found to be against any of the provisions of the rules and guidelines.
• Do not submit fake documents as a proof to obtain this certificate.
• Incomplete application will be rejected.
• Avoid spelling mistakes while filling the application form.

• The toys license must be cleared by customs to be allowed exit from Surrey County as required by law.
