Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To Get License or Permit for Special Fabrics in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Egypt.

3. Applicants must obtain the application form from the authority.
4. To apply for the license the business owner must file several documents such as the name and the address of the establishment, details of the owner and the employees at the time of incorporation and fill all the details in the application letter.
5. The application form must contain the name of the employer, address of the establishment, the name of the establishment, the category of the establishment, number of employees and other admissible details as desired.
6. Attach all the documents with the application letter and submit it to the Director of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
7. Also, make sure that the applicant has all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
8. A fee for this procedure must be paid as per the authority’s request.
9. After assessing the application and attached documents, the International Trade Administration will initially issue an Approval-In-Principle.
10. Not later than six months after the grant of Ministry of Trade and Industry authority, the promoters of a proposed bank will receive a formal notification instructing to submit an application for the grant of final license.
11. The application should also contain some of the documents in support for the grant of the final license, addressed to the Ministry of Trade and Industry Department.
12. Once the verification of all the documents and application has been done, the applicant will be informed through phone or email to collect the final license within 1 month.
13. The processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a citizen of Egypt.
• Persons who intending to do Special Fabrics business in Egypt and those persons are 18 years and above are eligible to apply.
