Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get License or Permit for Miscellaneous Articles, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration Contact link
2. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
3. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
4. An applicant should submit a signed application letter addressed to the Executive Secretary of the Commission.
5. Applicants should fill and submit one original application form signed by a Principal Officer.
6. Applicants should provide two (2) hard copies and a soft copy (if available) of the above exhibits as separate attachment, clearly labelled and all pages sequentially numbered.
7. The applicant shall provide the receipt confirming the payment of the Initial License fee after the Commission has communicated the Outcome of its Decision on an application to the applicant.
8. The official will confirm that the applicant has paid the correct fee and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page and then update the file and schedule a date for the site inspection.
9. The submitted details will be verified by respective receiving authority. If all the details and documents are in place, application will be accepted.
10. Applicant will get a receipt as acknowledgement for the submission of application.
11. This application will be processed by the respective department.
12. Applicant gets notification about the issuance.
13. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, the applicant can visit the office to collect their license.
14. The processing time for this procedure takes 90 working days.

Eligibility

• A person who intends to engage in Miscellaneous Articles business in Egypt are eligible for this aplication.

Fees

• The government imposed 30 shillings per month license fee in order for the miners to work their claim.

Validity

• The license is valid for one year, and, upon request, can be extended.

• The applicant should obtain the application form from the authority.
• Applicant should read carefully in the application form, after all details must be filled in the application form.
• Once the application form and any relevant supporting information/documents have been completed, signed, stamped, and certified where required.
• Submit the completed form in two copies along with the supporting documents to the respective office.
• The official will check the application for accuracy and to ascertain if that the application is correct.

• This permit allows the people or authorities possess Miscellaneous articles legally.
• This permit allows foreign residents in to engage, whether alone or in partnership, in Metals or Articles in Egypt.
• Licensed Articles means those articles of merchandise or products approved by Licensor in writing which bear one or more licensed marks.
