Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To book a ticket in Egyptian railway, the applicant must navigate to the official Egyptian National Railways website contact link
2. Enter the username, password, and click Login. The reservation page appears.
3. Enter the first three characters of your source journey in the From field. The reservation system prompts you to select from the list of sources.
4. Enter the first three characters of your destination journey in the To field. The reservation system prompts you to select from the list of sources.
5. Select the date from the calendar.
6. Choose the ticket type - i-ticket, e-ticket.
7. Choose the quota type - General, Tatkal, Ladies
8. Click Find Trains. The train list is displayed on the right side.
9. Select the train and choose the berth type (SL,3A,2A,1A,2S, Chair Car (CC), FA).
10. The page refreshes and displays the availability.
11. Click Book on the chosen date that has availability.
12. The system refreshes and displays the reservation form.
13. Enter the passenger's name (15 characters are allowed), age, sex (male, female), type of berth (lower, middle, side lower, side upper, upper).
14. Enter the passenger mobile number.
15. Enter the verification code.
16. Click Go.
17. The system prompts you to select the type of payment - credit card, net banking, debit card, mobile payment
18. Choose your convenient payment type and make the payment. A premium amount is levied for Tatkal tickets which varies from source to destination and type of train service (express, superfast, special train, passenger)
19. The reservation system prepares to display the ticket. You should wait for some time to see the ticket. But do not refresh the page or navigate to the previous page. If you do so, the ticket will not be booked, but the amount will be debited from your account.
20. You will receive a text message (SMS) from IRCTC about your journey details. You can show the SMS to the railway Ticket Collector (TC)with a valid document (PAN Card, Ration Card, Aadhar Card, Voter Card).
21. You can also book online tickets in India with the help of other websites, there are so many websites which has the facility of booking online tickets in India but all of them acts only as third part website and they all process query based on India railway website ticket availability. They accept online payments through credit card or debit card or internet banking. You will require bank ifsc code for online money transaction in India. Some vendors accept online money transfer through internet banking facilities which require IFSC Code.
22. The processing time is instant. Once the applicant pays the fee and books the ticket, they receive it to their email address instantly.

Instructions

• Travel permits for patients with cancerous tumors are issued automatically (smart card) showing the patient's data, photo, and the attached receipt showing the departure and arrival stations in green
• The travel permit is issued from the directorate for Marketing and Sales passenger Long distances, to be showed at the ticket window to give them the seats allocated to them by this permit from the offices of reservation and issuing the tickets
• The card and receipt are renewed at the beginning and end of each calendar year.
• The availability of reservation in air-conditioned trains (Spanish, French, and substituted trains) in the air-conditioned, second class, for travel between the departure and arrival stations shown by the smart card and the receipt, taking into account the reservation of only one trip per day for the one-way permit, as well as the return trip only.
• Reserving seats for patients who hold the air-conditioned second-class permits, according to the system currently in force.
• A patient who is less than ten years old and who wants to travel in the air-conditioned second class will be given two seats for himself and the companion.
• A patient who is over ten years old and wants to travel in the air-conditioned second class will be given a seat for him and another seat without reserving for the companion.
• The permit is placed on the smart card reader device of the reservation and ticketing machines at the automated stations to record the permit data of the travel tickets when reserving the free seats and taking into account the reservation of only one trip per day for the one-way permit for the going trip and the return trip only.
