Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Trade Test Assessment in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Industry.

3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
4. Applicant should read carefully in the application form, after all details must be filled in the application form.
5. Documents that are needed for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
8. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the TRADE.
9. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
10. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to collect their document.
11. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
12. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 week.

Eligibility

• Candidates who were tested in the past and were successful are advised to use result slips to book for the next level of test.
• Candidates who book later than the stipulated period indicated in the table above will not be considered for the current year trade test

Fees

• Grade I –EGP 7,500.00
• Grade II –EGP 6,000.00
• Grade III –EGP 5,000.00

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.

Need for the Document

• Trade Test Assessment assesses individuals who have acquired knowledge, skills and competence in a particular occupation but do not possess a formal qualification. Through Trade Testing a person can be assessed in a particular area by sitting for particular types of assessment.

Information which might help

• An applicant who fails to report for the Trade Test will be required to pay examination fee afresh during the next test series.
• All ready certificates will be sent to the Test Centre where the Candidate took the Test as soon as possible.
