Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Single Entry Visa in person, the applicant has to approach the Egypt e-visa portal.
2. Address and contact details can be found in the following Contact link
3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
4. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
5. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
8. Submit the completed form in two copies along with the supporting documents to the respective office.
9. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the Egypt e-visa portal.
10. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
11. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to collect their visa.
12. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
13. The Processing time for this procedure is 10 days.

• This is issued for single entry to persons whose nationalities require visa to enter Egypt either for business, tourism or medical purposes.

Instructions

Application processing:

• Take a few seconds to get yourself signed up. All the applicant need is your email address and some complementary information.
• Sign into the applicant account and get access to the applicant pending application(s), or apply for new application.
• Fill in the application form and pay using Visa card, MasterCard or other debit cards. Applicant has to create an e-Visa application at least 7 days before your departure.
• After the applicant has completed your application and made the payment, his/her application will be processed. As soon as he/she visa application has been processed, applicant will receive an email informing the applicant, with the current application status.

Need for the Document

• Visas are the permission granted by a sovereign nation to a traveller permitting entry for a specific purpose.
• The single entry visa is issued for single entry to persons whose nationalities require visa to enter Egypt either for business, tourism or medical reasons.

• Visa processing fee is non-refundable.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• The possession of a visa is not the final authority to enter the Republic of Egypt.
• Engaging in any form of business or employment without a requisite permit or pass is an offence.
• Please note that a visa is required prior to entry into Egypt.
• Please Note Children sixteen (16) year and below are exempted from visa payment and are not expected to make visa application.
• Holders of travel documents (not a national passport) should not make e-Visa applications; they should apply to the director of immigration services through the nearest Egypt mission.
