Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a private visa send an actual passport to the embassy in your country of origin.
2. The passport must have 6 months validity due before expiration. The passport pages 22, 23 and 24 are not acceptable as they are not passport pages.
3. Your passport will be rejected if it does not meet the requirements.
4. Fill out the Egypt visa application form.
5. Refer to the “Documents to use” section to see the application form.
6. Submit the application form to the consulate of Egypt with all the required documents.
7. A visa officer will decide if an interview with you is necessary. If an interview is required, you will be notified of the time and place
8. If your application is refused, your passport and other documents will be returned to you. (You will also receive an explanation why your application was refused and if you sent fraudulent documents, they will not be returned).
9. If your application is approved, your passport and documents will be returned to you with your visa.
   

Apply Online:

1. To apply online for a business visa in Egypt navigate to the link.
2. Create an account on the Egypt e-Visa Portal via the registration page by clicking on the “Sign-Up” button.
3. Confirm your account registration and login to the Egypt Visa portal.
4. Click on Apply Now.
5. Select the desirable type of visa: Private and read the instructions on the screen carefully.
6. Fill in the application form.
7. Once the application form is filled complete the payment using a MasterCard, Visa card, or other debit cards.
8. Wait for the approval via email and download it. Print the business e-visa from your account.
9. Present your printed e-Visa to the immigration officer at the port of entry.

Required Documents

• Original passport and old passports, if any
• Passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of submission of the visa, with a minimum of two blank pages
• Two copies of the first and last page of your passport
• Confirmed return air tickets
• The visa application form duly filled and signed by the applicant
• 2 recent passport-size colour photographs taken against a white background with matte-finish (size 35 mm x 45 mm)
• Covering letter mentioning the details of the travel and the traveller
• Original bank statements reflecting transactions of the last 6 months with a minimum balance of Rs 50,000 per person, duly attested and signed by a bank official
• Confirmation of hotel booking mentioning the name and number of hotel
• No objection letter from the current employer
• If you are self-employed: registration of the company/ partnership deed/ Memorandum of Article (MOA) is required
