Egypt - Apply for Entry Visas

Apply In-Person:

To Apply for Visa in person, the applicant has to approach the nearest Immigration office Contact link
Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
Read carefully through the application form as there contain different section.
The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the applicant form while submitting it at the office.
Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
After the application gets approval from concerned authorities, the visa will be issued within 2 days.
If the certificate is not issued within 2 days, applicant can reach out to the office to know status of their application.

EligibilityEdit

This is issued to persons whose nationalities require visa to enter Egypt either for business, tourism, medical or other purposes.
Children sixteen (16) year and below are exempted from visa payment and are not expected to make visa application.

Need for the DocumentEdit

This visa is a document issued by a country’s consular officer abroad that allows the applicant to travel to the country and apply for admission as a legal permanent resident.

Visa processing fee is non-refundable.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Engaging in any form of business or employment without a requisite permit or pass is an offence.
A visa is required prior to entry into The Republic of Egypt.
The e-Visa printout must be presented at the port of entry.
It should take at least 2 working days to get your eVisa.
Each adult visitor to the Republic of Egypt is required to submit eVisa applications in their personal eCitizen account. Parents can apply for their children in the parents account.
