Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To apply for e-visa in person, the applicant is required to register themselves and create an account on the Egypt e-visa portal Link
2. Select New Sign in, enter your e-mail address and password, then your login successful.
3. The applicant must confirm their registration and login using their valid credentials.
4. The applicant must click on the “Apply Now” tab present at the top of the page.
5. The applicant must select the type of visa and read the displayed instructions carefully.
6. An application form will be prompted on the screen.
7. The applicant must fill in the application form with appropriate details.
8. Once the application form is filled and submitted, the applicant is required to pay the fee using a Visa card, MasterCard or other debit card.
9. The applicant will receive approval on the email address provided.
10. Once received, the applicant must download and print the e-visa form and show it to the immigration officer at the port of entry.
11. The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
12. The processing time is 2 weeks.

Eligibility

• It is issued to travelers who visit a country for the purpose of visiting friends and relatives, recreational activities, medical treatment or short-term business visit. The passport of an applicant must have minimum six months validity from the date of visa application.

Fees

• This visa suffices for most tourists, which costs € 44,95 per person. If you want to travel to Egypt multiple times on a single visa you can apply for a multiple entry variant for € 79,90.

Validity

• The e-visa is valid for 30 days. If the multiple entry variant is chosen, an unlimited number of trips to Egypt can be made during the 90-day validity period.

• The e-visa is meant for tourists of all ages for a holiday of up to 30 days.
• The Egypt e-visa is a so-called tourist visa. It is therefore only used for holidays. Business travelers cannot submit their applications online; they need to make an appointment with the consulate to travel to Egypt.
