Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply in Egypt for a Motorcycle License for people with Special Need the applicant must approach the Central traffic department Contact link.
2. Refer to the “Office contacts & locations” section of this procedure for the same.
3. The applicant must carry the required documents with them for the process.
4. Refer to the “Required Documents” section of this procedure for more.
5. Submit the documents along with the required fees.
6. The applicant must pass the theoretical and practical driving test on the specially equipped vehicle or motorcycle.

Required Documents

• Identity and residence proof (ID, passport.etc)
• Medical certificate issued by the competent Medical Commission proving his ability to drive (private or light means of transport) vehicles or motorcycles properly equipped for the applicant's health condition.
• License and commercial plate numbers
• License and temporary plate numbers
• A school-phase or literacy certificate.
• The application form needed to get a license and submit it to the specialized department.
• What proves (the applicant ID- accommodation place- the age)
• The medical fitness to get driving license (private- tractor- private motorcycle)
• The medical fitness to get driving license (classes 3,2,1- underground or tram- police- for test)
• Educational certificate
• The applicant’s success in the technical test (the exemption from the technical test)
• Issuance fees of insured license
• The prescribed fees
• Fulfilling all the imposed fines for breaking the law (in case of renewing the license)
• According to the driving licenses (classes 3,2,1- underground or tram- for test), there must be an application beside all the aforementioned.
• Different types of private driving licenses (for  test- temporary for learning- military one- police one)
