Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply License to Manufacture of Drugs for Sale is done in person by visiting the Egypt Ministry of Health. Contact link
2. Application form should be obtained from the respective office.
3. Also, make sure that the applicant has all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
4. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
5. Submit the completed application form and pay the required application fee and submit the receipt as proof of payment.
6. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the GOEIC.
7. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
8. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to collect their document.
9. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
10. New licenses take a maximum of 30 days to process.

Fees

• Application fees is EGP 5,000 (Non-refundable)

Validity

• Each manufacturing license shall expire on the 31st December of every year and the renewal is subject to compliance with conditions prescribed by the Board.

No person shall manufacture any medicinal substance for sale unless he has applied for and obtained a license from the Board in respect of each substance intended to be manufactured.
