Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for a business visa send an actual passport to the embassy in your country of origin: Contact link.
  2. Refer the office contact details in the “Office contacts & Locations” section below for address details.
  3. The passport must have 6 months validity due before expiration. The passport pages 22, 23 and 24 are not acceptable as they are not passport pages.
  4. Your passport will be rejected if it does not meet the requirements.
  5. Fill out the Egypt visa application form.
  6. Attach a Business Letter from your company address to "Consulate of Egypt” explaining the purpose of the trip, guaranteeing financial support while in Egypt along with the required fees.
  7. Submit the application form to the consulate with all the required documents.
  8. Once the documents are processed, within the given processing period, the applicant will receive a call from the consulate to collect the visa.
  9. The applicant must then approach the consulate and collect the business visa.


Apply Online:

  1. To apply online for a business visa in Egypt navigate to the link Link
  2. Create an account on the Egypt e-Visa Portal via the registration page, fill in the details and click on the “Sign-Up” button.
  3. Open your email and verify the email address by clicking on “verify e-mail address” button.
  4. Confirm your account registration and login to the Egypt Visa portal.
  5. Click on “Apply Now” button. Type “email” , “password” and perform captcha verification. Click on “sign in” button.
  6. Read the instructions and click on “create new application”.
  7. Fill in the travel details and click on “next” button. Fill in the applicant’s details and attach the required documents. Click on “next” button. Fill in the host information and submit the details.
  8. Once the application form is filled, complete the payment using a MasterCard, Visa card, or other debit cards.
  9. Wait for the approval via email and download it. Print the business e-visa from your account.
  10. Present your printed e-Visa to the immigration officer at the port of entry.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • Egypt Business Visa requires a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining; 1 visa application form.
  • Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any
  • A Business Letter from your company address to "Embassy of Egypt " explaining the purpose of the trip, guaranteeing financial support for you while in Egypt.
  • Original Bank Statement: stamped & updated for last 6 months with bank seal.
  • Air tickets: proof of return flight tickets from and back to your home country.
  • Hotel reservation: proof of accommodation for your entire stay.
  • Pay a Consulate Fee


Kindly note: The Govt. of Egypt is very strict on the photograph requirement; please ensure that your photos are as per the specifications.

  • All visitors to Egypt with Valid Visa with intention of opening up a business in Egypt.

  • Regular Visa Fees for one person for 3 MONTHS $25
  • Rush Visa fees for those in hurry for 3 Months $45

  • Processing an application for an Egyptian visa normally takes 2-15 days, once all the documents have been successfully submitted.
