Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for a Phytosanitary Certificate, Applicant shall approach the Quarantine officer of the nearest exit port. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section.
  2. You have to submit an application request to the Quarantine Officer. The application request shall include the information listed below under the “required information” section.
  3. Please make sure you have all the required documents that are listed under the Required Document” section of this page.
  4. The applicant shall present the documents to the Quarantine Officer.
  5. After the application is processed and verified, The Inspector inspects the shipment destined for export.
  6. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the inspector issues a Phytosanitary Certificate.

EligibilityEdit

  • Registered exporter
  • All produce to be exported must be free of soil
  • All produce must be pest free
  • Ensure that your produce is of best quality and meets export requirements
  • Your  package  must  be  opened  for inspection  by  the  Quarantine  Inspector  at the port of exit.
  • Exporters must co-operate with Quarantine Office for Produce inspections.
  • All packages must be properly labeled including names of exporter & consignee.



FeesEdit

EC five ($5) dollars.

ValidityEdit

The Certificate is valid per shipment or consignment. A new shipment requires a new Phytosanitary Certificate
