Procedure

How to apply
All members of the public are encouraged to report to the police any crime or incident. If you have been the victim of crime, have witnessed a crime or would simply like to tell police that a crime has been committed there are several ways to do it by

• Dial 17 (emergency number).
• Contact the nearest police station in person or police officer on patrol.
• Dial the landline for your local police station.
• Post the crime or incident on the police social medial page
  

Note : 17 can be used to report crime anonymously at your request, and your identity will not be disclosed

Instructions

Required Information

• Nature of the offence.
• Time of offence.
• Locality (i.e. plot number, street, H/No or any nearest structure).
• Identity of the suspect or physical description of the suspect.
• Any weapons used.
• Names of witnesses where possible.

• All members of the public are encouraged to report to the police any crime or incident immediately and not take matters on their own hands.
