  • Get a valid passport. It must be an original, signed passport valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Djibouti with at least one blank visa page available on which the visa shall be stamped;
  • Get an original Djibouti Visa Application Form, Accurately fill it and sign and make a copy of the fully filled and signed form;
  • Fill the Global Service Order Form: This is Travisa's service order form, where one provides his / her contact and travel information, chooses the visa processing needed and make your payment. This is done by visiting https://orders.travisa.com/mod-cgi/jmcustomerlogin.cgi and follow the steps that appear to fill the form and submit. (The completely filled form is printed completed form and sent to Travisa with all other supporting documents).



Attach all the required documents:

  • One recent 2 x 2 passport photograph (coloured, front view and with a plain/white background); or one can upload a passport photo to the Global Service Order Form when he /she places his / her order, instead of providing physical passport photos.
  • A Letter of Invitation from Djibouti: This is a letter from sponsor / host company in Djibouti explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel to Djibouti. The letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and hosts contact information.
  • A Business Letter: it is a letter from employer or sponsoring company, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's employment status / position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Djibouti. It also indicates who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Djibouti.
  • A Djibouti Business Cover Letter can also be generated on on-line, fill out a Business Letter Form and print the completed letter on your company letterhead.
  • To do so, visit https://orders.travisa.com/BusinessLetter/djibouti and fill the form and submit. After the form has been submitted, the PDF form should be printed on company letterhead and then signed by an authorized person.
  • Proof of Departure; a computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency or copy of airline tickets; and

International Certificate of Vaccination. Submit your application to the immigration office in Djibouti, or to embassies / consulates in different countries.
