Apply Online - Denmark Obtain a Police Clearance Certificate Online with Images

  1. To Obtain a Police Clearance Certificate, the applicant has to make an online application via – link
  2. The applicant has to read all the details from the following page.
  3. If the applicant is a user of NemID, the applicant has to click the “Request certificate online with NemID”
  4. The applicant has to enter the user ID and click the “Continue” button.
  5. Followed by entering the password and clicking the “Continue” button.
  6. Now the applicant has to select the “Police Clearance Certificate”.
  7. Enter all the necessary details in the application form.
  8. Also, upload all the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  9. After completing all the details click the “Submit” button.
  10. There is no fee for obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate.
  11. The concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  12. Once the process gets completed, the officer will contact the applicant.
  13. After completing the process, the applicant will get the certificate from the office or through the mail.
  14. This entire process can be completed within a week days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.


Applying process in Denmark for citizens.

a. Apply In-Person
  1. Police Clearance Certificate can be applied at your nearest police station.

  4. Go to the respective office. Don’t forget to take the required copy of documents along with originals to the office.
  5. Please follow as per authorities guidelines and submit the completed application along with documents. Applicant should pay for any charges if required as advised.

  7. The certificate can be collected from the office where applicant applied in person or will be delivered through mail upon notification or issued as per norms.

  1. Those who are registered with the “National Registry of Denmark” can apply with the “the Commissioner of Police in Denmark” to obtain the PCC through mail(post).

  • Age: 16 years and above. In case of minors, the application must be submitted by the parent exercising parental authority, if the minor has not turned 16 years.
  • The current address of the applicant must be same as in the passport and other supporting documents.

If you also order private criminal records in several languages, it counts as only one criminal record. You can request for a copy of your private criminal record in two ways: in person, by going to any police station or you can obtain a copy digitally.
