Apply Online

  1. To Apply for Medical Council of India Certification (MCI), the applicant has to make the application online via the following link
  2. The applicant must click “Student Login” and click “Online Application for Registration of Eligibility Certificate.”
  3. If the applicant already have an account, enter username and password and click “Login”.
  4. If the applicant is a new user, click on the link “Don’t have an account? Register now” as shown below.
  5. On applicant Screen the “Student Registration form” will be displayed. Fill the form correctly and then submit it.
  6. After the successful submission, the login credentials are sent to the applicant registered email ID.
  7. Login with the credentials that applicant received on their registered email ID
  8. After successfully logging in, the applicants can see the Dashboard window. Click on “Eligibility Certificate” left side on your dashboard.
  9. Fill the Application form with accurate details.
  10. Then upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  11. Then the applicant must pay the prescribed fee as requested.
  12. After successful payment the applicant will receive a notification regarding successful submission of application.
  13. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
  14. Once everything is accepted, the authority will issue the certificate. The applicant will receive SMS and Email regarding the issuance of certificate.
  15. The applicant can login and they can download their certificates and can take print out.
  16. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.



Apply By Post

  1. To Apply for Medical Council of India Certification (MCI), the applicant has to make the application to National Medical Commission link
  2. The applicant has to download the application form from the following link
  3. The applicant must fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant must attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Post all the completed application to the National Medical Commission.
  7. The mailing address are provided in “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
  8. A bank draft of RS. 1000/- (rupees one thousand only) + 18% GST in favour of “The Secretary, Medical Council of India, New Delhi” payable at new Delhi should be sent along with the application (cheques are not accepted)
  9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  10. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
  11. Once everything is accepted, the authority will issue the certificate.
  12. A login id and password will be provided to the applicants through SMS and e-mail by which they can download their certificates and can take print out.
  13. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

EligibilityEdit

The eligibility criteria to apply for Medical Council of India (MCI) Certification are as follows:

  • The Applicant must have completed your MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized medical university outside India.
  • The Applicant must have obtained at least 50% marks in all the subjects of your MBBS examination.
  • The Applicant must have passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGE).
  • The Applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • The Applicant must be physically and mentally fit to practice medicine.



FeesEdit

  • A bank draft of RS. 1000/- (rupees one thousand only) + 18% GST in favour of “The Secretary, Medical Council of India, New Delhi” payable at new Delhi should be sent along with the application (cheques are not accepted)
  • For online the fee may varies.

  • The MCI Certification is valid for a period of five years.
