Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting an Electrical Contractor License is available in the Electricity Department offices in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu contact link
2. Applicant must enter all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant should carry both photocopies and originals of necessary documents.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the applicant will be notified regarding their license within 3 months.
8. If there is no notification regarding license is provided to the applicant within 3 months, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
   

Apply Online:

1. To apply for an electrical contractor license online in Daman & Diu, the applicant has to visit the following link:Link
2. Now, select "Electrical Contractor" under the Type of Services option as displayed on the screen.
3. Provide all the necessary details such as contractor's license number, name & email id and click on the "CLICK HERE TO VERIFY" option on the webpage.
4. Upload all the "Required Documents" in the prompted fields.
5. Also, make the requisite payment (if any) required for applying.
6. After verification, receive an acknowledgement slip which shall be kept for future reference.
7. Obtain the certificate by login into the portal or collecting the same from the concerned office.

Eligibility

• Applicant must have a 10th pass certificate.
• Applicant must be an Indian citizen and must have Daman and Diu residential address.
