Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for agriculture electricity connection in person visit ELECTRICITY BOARD OFFICE in your respective area
  2. The address and contact details of the office can be found in ‘’Office and Contact Details” section of this page
  3. Visit the Office and get the Application form for Agricultural Electricity Connection from the relevant department or you can download the application form from the following link by selecting "Application for LT Connection" or "Application for HT Connection": Link
  4. Please fill the application with essential information and details and it should be attested with the applicant along with all the partner’s signature
  5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed in “Required Documents” section of this page. Attach all the important documents mentioned
  6. Then, it should be submitted to the relevant authority. Also pay the required fees for the application process at the office as directed by the officials or you can find the required fee in “Fee Details” section of this page
  7. And your application and attached documents will be passed for verification to check if the land and area is eligible for the type of connection proposed
  8. After successful registration, an acknowledgement mentioning the registration number and date of registration will be given to the applicant
  9. Now, concerned officials will approve the application and orders will be issued.


Apply Online: - Apply for Agriculture Electricity Connection Online with Images

  1. To apply for agricultural electricity online, visit the following link:Link
  2. In the given page, please select “Online services” menu to get next page.
  3. Here select the option and enter the prompted details. Once all the above steps are done, please hit “Click here to verify "tab at the bottom to get a popup stating a link is sent to the email id just provided and asks applicant to follow the link.
  4. Please use the link in the email to reach power application form. Complete the form requirements and upload required documents as prompted. Once all the form details are filled then hit “Submit” to submit the application for connection.
  5. Applicants are requested to save the outcome of the application like receipt of acknowledgement for further reference.
  6. This submitted application will be processed further. Notification from department (through SMS or over phone) for further process will reach applicant.
  7. Applicant shall go to the respective office with the printout of application along with other documents and follow the guidelines to get the connection.


Apply through Mobile App:

  1. To reach the online portal to download the App follow the link: Link
  2. In the given page, please hit “Install” tab for installing the application.
  3. Once the app is installed, on the home page screen, please use the mobile number to register as per the screen prompt.
  4. User can track their application status by selecting the appropriate option.



Apply through Centres:

  1. To apply for an agriculture electricity connection in Daman & Diu, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
  2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the connection.
  3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
  4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
  5. Make the requisite payment (if applicable).
  6. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
  7. On successful verification, the electricity connection for agriculture will be granted by the concerned authority.

EligibilityEdit

  • Any person who wishes to set up a new electricity connection in their agricultural land can apply.
  • The shareholders of the land should possess a no objection certificate sworn before the Executive Engineer/Operation and Maintenance Office of the jurisdiction concerned.
  • The certificate should be obtained after verification from the Village Administrative Officer.
