Procedure

1. To apply for a Phytosanitary Certificate, Applicant shall approach the Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section.
2. You have to submit an Application form to the Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture.
3. Application form can be found on the following link: Link
4. Download the application form and fill up your details.
5. Please make sure you have all the required documents that are listed under the Required Document” section of this page.
6. The applicant shall submit the duly filled application form and documents to the Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture.
7. After the application is processed, The Inspector inspects the shipment destined for export.
8. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the inspector issues a Phytosanitary Certificate.

Validity

The Certificate is valid per shipment or consignment. A new shipment requires a new Phytosanitary Certificate
