1.Like any other visa, to obtain an Ivorian tourist visa, an applicant should start by finding a nearby and convenient Ivorian embassy, consulate office or high commission either in home country or any neighbouring country, as the Ivorian embassies, consulate offices and high commissions in foreign countries are the authorized Ivorian visa issuing agencies. 2.At the issuing agency, find out the requirements for obtaining a tourist visa for Cote dIvoire, the same information can be obtained from www.snedai.com/en; and obtain a visa application form.
3.The applicant then fills the obtained application form carefully and accurately;
4.Thereafter the applicant prepares all the documents required and attached copies to the filled application form;
5.Then the applicant proceeds with making necessary payments and also attach payment receipt on to the completed application form; and
6.Thereafter submits application to the issuing office.

Some applicants can apply for the Ivorian tourist online by visiting the website www.snedai.com/en and following the instructions given on the page; and when application is read, the application can be obtained from a consulate office or at the airport upon arrival in the country.
In this case, before application is submitted, the applicant is required to first identify a nearby embassy, find out the requirements and also check whether he / she is eligible for airport visa pick-up or not

2.A valid passport must be valid at least six (6) months beyond intended stay and must have a blank visa page;
3.Do not submit false documents;;
4.Do not stay in the country beyond visa validity;
5.Applicants must be of good character;
6.Ensure that the visa you are applying for suits the activities you would like to do while in Cote dIvoire
7.Always use designed entry points to enter Ivory Coast;
8.Do not carry prohibited materials and substances while entering the country;
9.An applicant must have enough funds to take him / her through the period of stay in the country;
10.Ivorian citizens living abroad do not require visa to visit the country
11.Applicants must know that amended pages are not suitable for a visa stamp;
12.Applications can be submitted in person, mailed or can be submitted through visa agents;
13.Ensure that the submitted application form is signed and dated;
14.In order obtain a visa upon arrival, an application must have been submitted earlier online before traveling;
15.Applicants must be ready to follow laws, rules and regulation of the immigration department and of the country as a whole if visa is granted;
16.Be aware that a tourist visa does not permit the holder to engage in any paid / business activities while in the country;
