Procedure

1.To obtain an Ivorian business visa, an applicant should start by identifying the nearest issuing agent. This is, he / she finds the most convenient Ivory Coast embassy, consulate office or high commission which could be either in home country or any neighbouring country. 2.When a convenient issuing office is identified, the applicant must go to the office to find out what is required to obtain an Ivorian business visa. The same information can be obtained from www.snedai.com/en;

3.At the issuing office, the applicant then obtains a visa application form (it can also be obtained from the website of a selected agency) and complete it carefully and accurately; and after completing it, the applicant should not forget to insert date and signature;

4.Thereafter the applicant goes ahead to gather all required documents and make copies of the same; the copies are then attached to the filled application form;

5.The applicant then makes any necessary payments and also attach payment receipt on to the completed application form; and

6.Thereafter submits application to the issuing office.

1.An applicant must ensure that he / she has a valid passport with a blank visa page;

2.Applicant must be visiting the country for a short period of time;

3.Ensure that the submitted information is correct;

4.If visa is issued, applicants are advised not to stay in the country longer than the validity of the visa;

5.Applicants are advised to use designated entry points when entering Cte d'Ivoire;

6.Ensure that submitted business and invitation letters are on a company letter head;

7.Applicants must be of good character and of good health;

8.The applicant must be ready to follow laws, rules and regulations of the country if visa is granted;

9.Business visa does not permit long term work;

10.Applicants are advised not to carry prohibited materials and substances while entering Cte d'Ivoire;
