Procedure

  • For employee of foreign embassy, consulate and international organizations China office: valid identification document issued by Ministry of foreign Affairs of P.R.C.
• Surrender the damaged license plates (beyond recognition). or the remaining one (the other one is missing).
• To re-apply for or change vehicle title, a picture of the vehicle is needed.

Eligibility

If youre moving from one state to another, you must re-register your vehicle. This can usually be done before entry, although you may require a local address.

Fees

Reflective car number plate charge 100 yuan / pair, motorcycle reflective license plate fee, 35 yuan / pair, trailer reflective plate charge 50 yuan / pair, three cars, low-speed vehicles reflective plate charge 40 yuan / pair, single replacement Special solid plate sealing device charge 1 yuan / month, temporary vehicle license plate charge 5 yuan / Zhang, motor vehicle license fee charged 15 yuan / this.

Need for the Document

A new title must be issued each time theres a change in the details printed on it, e.g. a change in the address of the owner. A certificate of title must be applied for immediately after a new or used vehicle is purchased; without it you cannot obtain a registration plate.
