China - Obtain a Child or Minor Passport

Under normal circumstances, the ordinary citizens to apply for a passport, shall submit its domicile from my local people's governments above the county level Public Security Bureau management agencies, and submit the following real effective materials:
- the recent one photo and complete the "private Chinese citizens going abroad (border) Application Form" (hereinafter referred to as the Application Form);
- the identity card and residence booklet and a copy; residents receive identity cards, renewal, replacement period, you can submit a temporary resident identity card and residence booklet and a copy;
- citizens under 16 years of age should be accompanied by a guardian and submitted issued the consent of their guardians advice booklet resident identity card or passport and a copy of the guardian;
- national staff should be in accordance with the relevant provisions, to prove I belong to submit work unit or units in accordance with the higher authorities of personnel management authority for approval of the consent issued exit;
- people's governments at the provincial Public Security Bureau local authorities reported to the Ministry of Public Security Exit-Entry Administration approval, require other submissions.

Chinese citizens who exit or enter China shall submit their exit/entry documents such as passports or other travel documents to the exit/entry border inspection authorities for examination, go through the prescribed formalities, and may exit or enter upon examination and approval.
A Child or Minor Passport can be obtained from the Ministry of Public Security or commissioned by local public security organs, as well as embassies, consulates, and in Hong Kong, Macau Corruption awarded to travel abroad to settle in, to visit relatives, learning, employment, travel, business activities and other non-official reasons Chinese citizens going abroad.

Chinese citizens who exit or enter China shall, in accordance with the law, apply for passports or other travel documents.
A Child or Minor Passport is a legal certificate issued by China to testify a childs or a minor s nationality and identity when crossing Chinas frontier into another for travel, work and residence overseas. It is the proof for a citizen to go through the international ports of all countries.

Other uses of the Document/CertificateEdit
For international travel across borders, a citizen must possess a legitimate one which issued by his own country's government, and simultaneously, an effective visa to your destination country is also often required.

Under any of the following circumstances, Chinese citizens are not allowed to exit China:
- Hold no valid exit/entry documents, or refuse or evade border inspection;
- Are sentenced to criminal punishments, the execution of which have not been completed, or are suspects or defendants in criminal cases;
- Are involved in unsettled civil cases and not allowed to exit China upon decision of the peoples courts;
- Are subject to criminal punishment for impairing border administration, or are repatriated by other countries or regions due to illegal exit from China, illegal residence or illegal employment, and the No-Exit-from-China period has not expired;
- May endanger national security or interests, and are not allowed to exit China upon decision by competent departments under the State Council; or
- Other circumstances in which exit from China is not allowed in accordance with laws or administrative regulations.
