Procedure

To use existing or set up a dedicated satellite ground receiving facilities to receive foreign television programs transmitted via satellite units, shall submit a written application to the provincial authorities for examination and approval by the applicant newspaper of the province, autonomous region, municipalities radio and Television Department (Bureau) for approval. Radio and Television Department (bureau) approval is granted, "satellite ground receiving facilities to receive television programs transmitted via foreign satellites License" (hereinafter referred to as the "License"), reported by the approving authority of Radio, Film and Television, Ministry of Public Security, the National Security record.

Required Documents

• Application form signed by the legal representative of the applicant organization, including: the agency profiles, establish the purpose, the name of China offices in China, the presence (chief representative), business scope, duration office address.
• The applicant organization in the host country (land) proof of legal existence.
• Credit certificate issued by the bank.
• The appointment of the chief representative offices in China and representatives of the legal representative of the power of attorney signed by the applicant, the chief representative and representatives of resume and copies of identity documents.

Eligibility

Education, research, news, financial, economic, trade and other business units indeed due to work required need to apply for the use of existing satellite ground receiving facility or set up a dedicated satellite ground receiving facilities to receive foreign satellite transmission TV programs.

Instructions

Application for using the existing satellite ground receiving facilities or install special ground satellite receiving facilities to receive television programs transmitted via foreign satellites, shall meet the following conditions:

• operations of the unit there to receive television programs transmitted via foreign satellites necessary;
• determine the direction of reception and viewing the contents of the target range;
• technical equipment in line with national standards;
• a full-time qualified management personnel;
• has a sound management system.
