Procedure

1. Go to any office of the Civil Registry.
2. Apply for a request for rectification to the registration of your vehicle.
3. Present and submit the required documents.

Required Documents

Annotation of Levies and Bans

• Foreclosures - must contain the Tribunal to levy an attachment order, the role of the cause, data identifying the vehicle and its plate number Single Patent and proof of having carried out the procedure of seizure.
• Clothing - can be established only by public or private instrument authorized notary notarized.
• Alienate Ban - the document submitted must contain the vehicle identification data, the code of your plate Single Patent and individualization of its owner.
• Registration of securities of mere possession
• Reports and Modify Fuel Type

Cancellation or Domain Limitations Uprising

• In case of vehicles admitted to the country under customs exemptions, depending on the case:
  • Certificate of Reversal awarded by the National Customs Service, or a Certificate of Release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or a simple request of the owner the vehicle if the time lapsed since the prohibition to alienate
  • Alterations to the Vehicle - original documents that indicate the data that was modified, which must state the vehicle owner and the code of the Patent Plate Single.
  • a Request for Annotation, indicating the data to be modified
  • For color change - an affidavit indicating the new color it has, data plate single patent; or a Certificate of Technical Review or a Certificate of Ocular Municipal Review, showing the new color of the vehicle.
  • For engine change - An invoice or other document evidencing the purchase of the new engine; or Affidavit before Notary of the owner, or his legal representative, about the place and date of acquisition of the engine. Must be accompanied also with a Technical Review a Certificate or a Certificate of Ocular Municipal Review, which spell out the new engine number of the vehicle.
  • For changing vehicle type - invoice or receipt issued by the shop or company that made ??the transformation; or Affidavit before Notary of the owner, or his legal representative, about the changes made. It must be accompanied by a Certificate of Technical Review granted by a plant approved by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, or a Certificate of Ocular Municipal Review.
