1.Applicant start by identifying the nearest Chad embassy or consulate office, go to the identified office and find out what is required to obtain a tourist visa in Chad.

2.After finding requirements, the applicant should go ahead and assess his / her suitability for the visa she he wishes to apply for ;

3.If he / she finds him / herself suitable for the visa, he / she can proceed with obtain a visa application form. A visa application form can be obtained from embassy or website of embassy chosen in one (1) above

4.Fill the follow carefully and remember to insert date and signature on to the form after filling all required fields;

5.Make all necessary payment for the visa;

6.Attach all required documents plus the payment receipt on to the filled application form; and

7.Submit application to the office identified in 1 above.

1.Applicants who are citizens in the United States of America can apply online logging on to http://www.travelvisapro.com/visa/chad. On the page, fill the form under step A and thereafter select the prompt order your visa online.

  • A click on the prompt will lead the applicant on to a form that he / she is supposed to fill all required filled and follow steps as directed by the system.
  • Upon submission of application, proceed with mailing required documents to the embassy. The required documents are listed under step B on http://www.travelvisapro.com/visa/chad. Thereafter wait for a response the embassy.

2.The USA citizens can also apply online by visiting http://chad.visahq.ca/ and select the prompt apply online and follow the steps of application as directed by the system. After completion of the online steps, mail the required documents as directed on the same page (http://chad.visahq.ca/)

2.Authorization letter from the parent, and a copy of parent`s photo ID (for minors).

3.Certificate of marriage (if traveling with spouse)

4.Proof of sufficient funds (A bank statement)

1.Submitted passports should be valid with a blank visa page;

2.It is advisable to obtain visa before arriving in Chad;

3.Applicants must be of good character;

4.Have genuine reasons to apply for a tourist visa;

5.Ensure that the visa you are applying for suits the activities you would want to do in Chad;

6.Be ready to comply with laws, rules and regulation of the immigration department and of the country as a whole;

7.First entry should be within thirty (30) days upon issuance of visa;

8.A visitor can only stay for thirty days per visit;

9.Do not elongate stay beyond validity period of visa because it is an offence;

10.Do not engage in any paid / business activities while in the country;

11.Enter Chad through designated entry points;

12.Do not enter with dangerous materials / substances;

13.Have enough money to cater for you needs during the period of stay in the country;

14.If traveling with children, endeavor to obtain documentary evidence of parental responsibility as it may be requested for.
