Procedure

• Fill in the application form.
• Submit your application along with all other required documents.
• Your voter's card will be issued to you within sixty days from the time you submitted your request.

• Scanned photograph (taken in the Commission itself Census, Tour or Mobile Brigade)
• Identification Documents
• Evidence that your name is included in the electoral roll.

• Cape Verde citizens with capacity to vote
• Foreign nationals residing legally in Cape Verde and eligible to vote.

To obtain a voter's card, your name must be on the current electoral roll.

Obtaining the card is free.
