Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Obtain a prescription stamped by a public company indicating that the medicine is unavailable.
2. With the prescription go to a private owned pharmacy registered with the National Social Pension Centre (Centro Nacional de Pensões Sociais -CNPS)
3. Issue the prescription to the service provider at the pharmacy for verification and service delivery.
4. The attendant will ascertain the prescription and depending on your beneficiaries account balance at the National Social Pension Centre, you will be requested to pay a certain amount or the National Social Pension Centre will cater for the whole medication cost.
