Procedure

• If you are a Cape Verde national or a foreigner residing in Cape Verde, whether employed or self-employed, as long as you are registered under the social security service system, you may apply to obtain a social security card.
• Gather all necessary documents and submit them to the following offices.

• One passport size photo
• Birth certificate of children, grandchildren and / or equivalent
• Copy of the national identity card or passport
• Registration form to the social security service completed and signed by the employee and employer with the stamp used in the institution
