Cape Verde - Apply for Investment Incentives for External Investment Status

Following are the steps that are needed to be followed to apply for Investment Incentives for External Investment Status.
Proof Ownership of Land or Establishment:

Visit the Second Notary office in your region to request for the public deed.
Deliver the required documents and obtain the receipt for payment preparation
Make an appointment for the deed date, which you will be informed via a phone call by a Notary technician.
On the Date, go the Second Notary office, present your receipt for payment for verification and you will sign the public deed and obtain the certificate of deed and an ascertained payment receipt.
Go to any to any town hall pay for the single property tax and obtain the IUP payment receipt
Draft an application for the request of deed registration and submit it to the General Directorate for Registries, Notaries and Identification office with the required documents attached to the application. After paying the application fees, your application will be processed and you be issued with a payment receipt for request of registration and a receipt for request registration of deed.
Finally, at the General Directorate for Registries, Notaries and Identification office you will be issued a land Registration Certificate.

Location Plan:

Prepare the necessary documents and visit any town hall office to request for a location plan with change of title.
Present you documents to the CMP front office for verification and pay the inspection fees as directed and obtain the inspection payment receipt and the document delivery receipt.
Wait for 10 to 15 days and go to the office to obtain the location plan.

Environmental Study:

Request an environmental study form any consultancy office or any registered consultant and obtain the environmental impact study document.
Visit the General Directorate of Environment in your region to request for the homologation of the study.
Deliver environmental impact study with the required documents attached to it at the DGA reception service for ascertainment
Pay the recommended application fees and obtain the order delivery receipt
Wait for the complication of the request and go back to the office on the recommended date, submit the order delivery receipt and obtain the approved study

External Investment Status:

With the correct required documents, visit the Cape Verde Promotion Investment Agency office to request for external inverters certificate.
In the office make your way to the Investor Support Department (DAI) to present your request and obtain the EIE order delivery receipt
Once you request is processed, you will receive an approval letter through your email at a latter day.
Go to the bank and pay the application fees and obtain the deposit receipt.
Take the deposit receipt to the Cape Verde Promotion Investment Agency office and obtain your External Investor Certificate.
Eventually register the investment with the central bank
