Procedure

Apply by Mail:

1. To Get a Permit or License for Residence, the applicant needs to obtain an application form from the official website, here is the contact link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
3. Attach a copy of all relevant documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.

5. The applicant will need to make a fee payment online, and for that, they will need a PDF viewer (Adobe 10).

7. Once the fee has been paid, the applicant has to print the fee receipt and include it with their application form.
8. Once all the documents have been attached and the application form duly filled, mail the documents either by mail or courier.

11. Once the application reaches the authorities, they will process it to make sure the details have been entered correctly.
12. The applicant will receive the permit either by mail or will have to pick it up from the office.
13. If the applicant is asked to pick up the card from the office, they will have to carry documents such as their passport, and original copies of the documents that were sent while applying.
14. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
