Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get Permit or License for Jewellery and Silverware Manufacturing, the applicant has to approach the Canada Municipality Department link Canada Revenue Agency link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)

10. If the applicant plan to sell goods, the applicant will need to register for a sales tax account. In Canada, this is known as a Goods and Services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax (GST/HST) account. You can register for a GST/HST account through the CRA.
11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
12. For further process, the applicant has to follow the instruction given by the officer.
13. This entire process can be completed within 3- 4 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
