Procedure

Water connections in Cameroon is provided by Camerounaise des Eaux. Following listed information can guide you in requesting a water connection.

There are two possible scenarios for which a water connection can be requested.

1. The compound never had a connection.
2. The compound has the connection but the meter is not in-place.
   
   

The compound never had a connection
If you are the owner of the compound for which you require water connection, you would have to take the following documents to the nearest branch.

• Deed of Ownership
• Photocopy of National Identity Card or Passport
  

If you are a tenant, you would have to take the following documents to the nearest branch.

• Tendancy Agreement
• Written and legalization authorization from your landlord
  
  

The compound has the connection but the meter is not in-place
Please visit you local branch office who should be able to help you out in getting the meter. Also, please take with you the following documents which should help.

• An old bill of the previous tenant
• An old connection estimate form
• Any other document that identifies your installation
