Death certificate - this is the official document that is issued after the death of the person. It is issued on the basis of a report of death and it is necessary to submit the personal documents of the deceased - identity card or passport. After issuing the death certificate, the personal documents are submitted to the municipality together with the death notice and are kept there. To the relatives of the deceased is issued excerpt from death certificate, which become an official document for them.They can use it in sharing and settlement of the estate of the late, and before banks,the social security administration and etc.
Before issuing a death certificate, the authorities usually require a certificate from a physician or coroner to validate the cause of death and the identity of the deceased.

Often people do not make a difference between notice of death and death certificate. A death notice-it is issued by the GP who established the death, or by the hospital in which it occurred.
