ProcedureEdit

Step – 1

  1. To Apply for Liquor Licence (Class B), the applicant has to approach the British Columbia, Liquor and Cannabis link
  2. The applicant has to select the business type and gather all the documents for the liquor license.
  3. The applicant has to write a written letter of intent.


Step – 2

  1. The applicant has to complete the online process from the following link
  2. Read all the details and click the “Login” button.
  3. If the applicant is a new user click the “Register for a BCeID”
  4. Select the option of registration and read the steps of registration carefully and then click the “Start Registration” button.
  5. Enter all the details and click the “Continue” button to complete all the steps.
  6. After the registration process, click the login button.
  7. Enter the user ID and password and then click the “Login” button.
  8. Select the form type and complete all the details.
  9. Also, upload all the necessary details which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  10. And pay the fee amount which is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
  11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant has to click the “Submit” button.


Step – 3

  1. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  2. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  3. The office Inspector will contact the applicant to review the application and conduct an initial inspection if necessary.
  4. If the application meets preliminary requirements, it will be posted on the website for 7 days. During this period, objections to the application may be submitted to Board.
  5. Once the verification process gets done, the applicant gets a notification through SMS or call.
  6. The applicant has to visit the office to get the license.
  7. The processing time for this procedure takes up to 15 – 30 days.
