Step – 1
- To Apply for Liquor Licence (Class A), the applicant has to approach the British Columbia, Liquor and Cannabis link
- The applicant has to select the business type and gather all the documents for the liquor license.
- The applicant has to write a written letter of intent.
Step – 2
- The applicant has to complete the online process from the following link
- Read all the details and click the “Login” button.
- If the applicant is a new user click the “Register for a BCeID”
- Select the option of registration and read the steps of registration carefully and then click the “Start Registration” button.
- Enter all the details and click the “Continue” button to complete all the steps.
- After the registration process, click the login button.
- Enter the user ID and password and then click the “Login” button.
- Select the form type and complete all the details.
- Also, upload all the necessary details which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- And pay the fee amount which is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant has to click the “Submit” button.
Step – 3
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- The office Inspector will contact the applicant to review the application and conduct an initial inspection if necessary.
- If the application meets preliminary requirements, it will be posted on the website for 7 days. During this period, objections to the application may be submitted to Board.
- Once the verification process gets done, the applicant gets a notification through SMS or call.
- The applicant has to visit the office to get the license.
- The processing time for this procedure takes up to 15 – 30 days.
