- To apply for Fireworks Magazine Licence (Fireworks operator certificate), the applicant will need to be enrolled in Eservices. Here is the contact Link
- The applicant will need to click on the following link to the Eservices website Link
- Click on “Sign in”, if the applicant has an account. If the applicant does not have an account follow these steps:
- The applicant will need to click on “ Continue to GCKey”
- On the right side of the login page, click on “Sign up”.
- The applicant will need to agree to the terms and conditions.
- The applicant will need to enter their username and click on “Continue”.
- Enter a password and click on “Continue”.
- The applicant will need to enter security questions and answers. Once this is done, click on “Continue” to create an account.
- Alternatively, the applicant can choose to sign in using a “Sign-in Partner”.
- The applicant will need to make sure their company is registered, and use their credentials to log in.
- Once logged in, the applicant will be directed to NRCan’s eServices portal page.
- The applicant will need to agree to the terms and conditions. The applicant will be prompted to enter the required information such as an email.
- An email confirmation code will be sent to the applicant, enter the code to complete the registration process.
- On the applicant's account page, click on “My Account”.
- Click on the “Explosives Services” option.
- The applicant will need to apply for an enrollment letter, and enter all the relevant information.
- The applicant will need to select if they want to enrol as an individual or as a company.
- The applicant will receive a letter by email with a secure eLMS User Activation Code and the steps the applicant needs to follow to complete the enrollment process.
- The applicant will need to submit additional documents. Find further information under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant may need to pay fees. Find further information under the “Fees” section of this page.
- Once the applicant has completed all the steps on the enrollment letter, they shall perceive their certificate by email.
- The applicant shall receive the certificate within four weeks from the submission of the application.

EligibilityEdit
- The applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
- The applicant must successfully complete safety and legal awareness course for Display Fireworks or Special Effect Pyrotechnics.
- The applicant will also need to ensure they are applying for the right course, find further information under the “Instructions” section of this page.

FeesEdit
- The applicant needs to pay fees to obtain a certificate, this will be mentioned on the enrollment form.
- The applicant can pay fees using a visa or MasterCard.
ValidityEdit
- The certificate is valid for 5 years.
- The expiry date will be mentioned on the certificate.
- The applicant shall receive a notice by email 2 months prior to the expiration date.

- There is a difference between Display Fireworks and Special Effect Pyrotechnics. Before attending safety and legal awareness course and applying for a fireworks operator certificate, the applicant will need to ensure they are applying for the right course.
