Botswana - How to Create Job Seeker Account (LMO Account)

Procedure

Apply Online

1. Applicants should Browse the site Botswana Labour Market Observatory (LMO) Website
2. On the Home page, hover the mouse cursor over the “Register” tab towards the top right and select “Job Seeker Registration” in the dropdown menu to open the “Job Seeker Account” window.
3. Once on the “Employer Account” window, create new account option is selected by default. Populate all the available fields, check the Accept Terms and Conditions of Use thereafter click on the “Create New Account” tab at the bottom of the window.
4. Upon receipt of the registration request, the Labour Market Observatory (LMO) system shall send a verification link to the applicant registered email address.
5. The applicant should log in to their email address and check his/her inbox and click on the verification link forwarded to him/her, in order to activate the Account.
6. This will navigate the applicant to the Job Seeker Account Login Page. Enter either, Username or Email address, password and click on the “Login” button at the bottom of the window to log into the Account.
7. Once login, hover the mouse cursor over the “User Menu” tab, on the top left of the window and select “My Account”.
8. This will redirect the user to their personal LMO Jobseekers account, where he/she will be able to carry out other functions such as:
   • Create/ Update their Profile: To update information, click on the “Edit” tab. Two options will be available for the user to choose from, Account and Edit Profile. The account option is for editing Account details, and the, Edit Profile option is for editing Job Seeker Profiles.
     • NB: Do not forget to click on the “save” tab at the bottom of the window to save the changes/updates made.
9. To log out of the Account, hover the mouse cursor over the User Menu tab and select Log out in the dropdown menu.

• The LMO job seeker account is valid indefinite until the holder of the account voluntary closes the account.
