Procedure

Apply In Person

1. The application for a Postal Address Rental P O BOX shall be made to the Botswana Post Offices located countrywide. Botswana Post Branch Contact Details
2. Applicants will be issued with a Registration Form depending on the type of postal box/bag they want to acquire. There are two main categories of post boxes Physical Post box or Virtual Post box that applicants can apply either as a company/business or individual.
3. Submit the duly complete registration form attached to the supporting documentation as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page, to the customer care desk. Any omission of the required information or documents will render the registration processing incomplete.
4. Upon submission, the application is checked for completeness and correctness by the customer care staff, if everything is in order and the rental box is available, the applicant will be required to pay an annual rental fee of P235.00. (For personal use) and P630.00 (For business) and obtain a payment receipt.
5. A copy of the Registration Form will be signed and stamped by the customer service officer and issued to the client, which will serve as a contract between you and the Botswana Post office.
6. The client will also be issued with a Box key to be able to assess the post rental box.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply applicants should meet the following criteria,

• One should be at least 18 years of age and above and of sound mind.
• One should have a physical location.
• A corporate/business should have a certificate of registration.

Fees

Annual rental fee Charged are;

• P235.00. {for personal use}.
• P630.00. {for business}.

Validity

• The Post Box Service is valid forever as long as the subscriber pays an annual rental fee, failure to do so will lead to disconnection of the services.
