Procedure

How to Apply:
An employee’s supervisor recommends user to be given an internet/email account and the requestor must first read the Internet Services Acceptable Usage Policy carefully and thoroughly before applying for internet services. By submitting your application, you indicate that you have read and agree to comply with the Policy.

Online application process:
The following steps must be followed to have access to the services:
Step 1:

• One should log in to a computer through a government network to access the service via this link navigate to the website and click on register
• First read the Internet Services Acceptable Usage Policy carefully and thoroughly before applying for internet services
• Accept the terms and conditions displayed in the Disclaimer to begin your application
  

The following fields are to be filled on the form:
Step 2:
Under Ministry-Department –

• Please select the ministry and department that you work with from the drop list.
  

Step 3:
Identification Type and Number –

• Citizens should select an identification card (Omang) as identification type and also enter their identification number
• Non-citizen should enter Country Code of the passport as Identification Type and enter a passport number as an identification number

Step 4:
Initial Password/Confirm –

• Input a personal password to into the first box, re-enter the exactly same password into the next box.
  

Note

• Once your application has been approved and processed, this will be your password to use Internet Support services.
  

Step 4:
PRCR Question/Answer
PRCR stands for Password-Reset Challenge Response. In the PRCR Question edit box, enter a question whose answer is known only to you and nobody else.

• In the PRCR Answer edit box, enter the answer.

Step 5:
Submit your application for verification and processing.

• By submitting your application, you indicate that you have read and agree to comply with the Policy.

Step 6:
You can check the status of the request at SERVICEview by using the filters to search for their request.
