How to Apply
Apply In-Person

  1. Applicant should visit the ministry of agriculture headquarter office or the nearest District Animal Production Offices, Department of Animal Production {see address details below}.
  2. Approach the Department of Animal Production agent and express your interest, you will be required to state details about the fishing farm to the agent i.e. {size of the pound, type of fish feed used, culture species, scale of fishing practised etc.}
  3. The agent will then fully explain and advise you on different aspects on how to run and manage an effective fishing farm i.e. fingerling production, fish production systems, site assessments, feeds, culture species etc.
  4. In case you do not understand an aspect or you have any additional question, please ask the agent to clarify, you can also collect the aquaculture pamphlets and extension manuals for further understanding, which are freely issued by the agent.
