Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Interested farmers who wish to be trained in Agro-processing and Conservation of Natural Resources should visit the Department of Crop Production Office or Animal Production Offices; headquarter office or district office for the registration process . (please view the offices address using these links;

2. Collect and complete the Registration Training service form, copies of these forms are available for free at any of the Crop or Animal Production Offices and are not available online.
3. Submit the completed form attached to a copy of your identity card, to be verified by the District Crop or Animal Production Extension Officer.
4. The Extension Officer will then proceed with the registration process, which takes a few minutes, beneficiaries of the training program will be issued with a registration card and given further instruction on where and when the Agro-processing and Conservation of Natural Resources training program will commence.

There are five Rural Training Centres in Botswana – (Denman, Francistown, Southern, Ngamiland, and Mahalapye) that offer training services in all aspects of Crop Production, Animal Production, Marketing of Agricultural Produce, Agro-processing, and Conservation of Natural Resources
