Bolivia - Obtain a Copy of Marriage Certificate

If Civil Registration Officers have access to the database of the Civil Registry, the person should look based on their names, last names or dates of birth. If there is the registration of the individual, must verify that the data are recorded correctly, or at registration showing the person concerned. Also the Official must verify that the game is "without comment" in the system and that does not have multiple entries. If the interested person who wants to buy your certificate indicates that the record is fine, Officer prints the certificate, signs it and gives it to the person concerned on payment accordingly. If the Civil Registration Officer has no access to the database, you have two options:
- The first option is to request confirmation of data to addresses Computerized Civil Registry or Registry Office closest to tell you if the game record contained in the database.
- The second option is that Officer check if the books you have in your Oficiala, the book in which the person is enrolled. If the applicant is enrolled in one of the books in the hands of the officer, it must fill a blank certificate, exactly like the book. Once filled signs it and hands it to the person concerned.
Required DocumentsEdit
- Identity card.
- Birth certificate or additional evidence on the age.
- Divorce or death certificate proving the death of his former spouse.
- If one of the spouses is a foreigner must present your passport, Birth certificate legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and certificate stating that his country is single, widowed or divorced also legalized.
- Photocopy of identification of witnesses.

To obtain a copy of any of a marriage license in Bolivia, write or go to the Civil Registry office in the state or area where the event occurred.

Need for the DocumentEdit
A Marriage Certificate contains information about a marriage between two individuals. On a marriage record, you can at least find the bride's and groom's full names, the date of the marriage, and county where the marriage took place. Many marriage records include other information, such as the names and birthplaces of the bride's and groom's parents, the addresses of the bride and groom, information about previous marriages, and the names of the witnesses to the marriage.
Information which might helpEdit
Marriage records are part of public record, with one major exception. Program participants of the State's Address Confidentiality Program may have their marriage records excluded from the public filing. Only active participants are included, and they must apply for their marriage license at our downtown Civil Registry office. If the marriage license was obtained prior to becoming an active participant, the record cannot be "unrecorded."
